We're looking for a Used Vehicle Sales and Support person to join our Used Vehicle team in our Hamilton branch. The purpose of our Used Vehicle Sales team is to re-home our lease and rental vehicles once they reach the end of their lease term or are replaced in the rental fleet. Our vehicles are sold via a retail sales model, which is the responsibility of the Used Vehicle team.
The Used Vehicle Sales and Support person is responsible for co-ordinating refurbishments, working with suppliers and making smart decisions around spend to achieve the best results at the best price. It involves supporting all the moving pieces to ensure vehicles are prepped to the right standard and sold gear is turned around quickly and efficiently. This is a fast paced and varied role, and we’re looking for someone who is proactive, organised and motivated to stay ahead of the game.
About the role:

Co-ordinate the refurbishment of used vehicles along with the team, ensuring the right trucks are prepared to the right standard for sale.

Assist with refurbishment spend, helping to make informed decisions to maximise return and minimise unnecessary costs.

Co-ordinating all the moving parts for getting gear sale ready, including building and maintaining strong working relationships with workshops, engineers, tyre fitters, paint shops and electricians to keep refurbishments moving and aligned with deadlines.

Prioritise and fast track the turnaround of sold gear that hasn’t yet been refurbished, ensuring efficient delivery to customers.

Keep tabs on the local used vehicle fleet - knowing what's available, what needs work and where everything is.

Estimate costs and recovery potential of refurbishment options using your fleet knowledge.

Support the Sales team to help respond to customer walk ins.

Keep the wider Used Vehicle Sales team updated on fleet movements, refurbishment progress and sales activity.

Coordinate logistics for moving vehicles between suppliers and branches, working with the wider team to avoid duplication and reduce travel costs.

Maintain accurate records of refurbishment status, vehicle readiness and customer interactions in Dynamics 365.
About you:

Transport industry experience is an advantage.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Self-motivated and results-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Proficiency in customer relationship management.

Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

Class 4 or 5 License is an advantage but not essential.
