TR Group specialises in the rental, lease, and maintenance for heavy commercial vehicles. Driver training support TR Groups focus on optimising fleet performance and helping our customers operate as safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively as possible.
We’re also a private training establishment (PTE) providing professional training, specialising in light and heavy commercial vehicles and some associated industry plant and equipment.

We’re on the lookout for a proactive, detail-driven Training and Operations Co-Ordinator to join our busy and supportive Operations team. This role can be based in Auckland for the right person.
About the Role
This is a key role that requires someone with a sharp eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, and a proactive, can-do attitude. Our Training and Operations Co-Ordinator play a vital role in supporting our Customers and Trainers.
This role requires active problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple enquiries and tasks. Responsible for the profitability of our business, you are good with analysing data, to optimise both course and trainer utilisation. Your idea of fun is meeting our customers needs in your planning and scheduling.

Front line customer service on the phones, listen to understand our customer’s needs to offer a simple training booking process.

We take care of the complexities of compliance with an in depth understanding of our product range and make it easy for our customers to understand.

Ownership of key customer accounts, build on existing strong relationships with our customers.

Scheduling courses & optimising course attendance, every day is about finding a solution.

Planning and optimising schedules for our courses regionally.

Follow up on enquires from our website for scheduling of courses.

Follow up on cash sale payments for customers prior to scheduled training date.

Ensure all pre course materials or online logins are sent to trainees in a timely manner

Manage material stock levels with branches and training team.

Schedule trainers for specialised courses nationally including responsibility for accommodation and travel bearing in mind keeping costs in line with course profitability.

Liaise with all parts of the business as required.

All administration relating to course booking, registration, and customer care.

Responsibility for registration of Unit Standards to NZQA.

Responsibility for course completion certificate / card printing and registration of these in our internal database.

Become an expert in our bespoke IT systems, support their development and our teams understanding and use of the systems we have.
What you’ll bring

· Previous experience in operations, administration, and customer service, with outstanding attention to detail.
· Highly organised, with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks.
· Eagle-eyed attention to detail, with strong time management
· Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
· The ability to build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with customers, and internal team members.
· A proactive and positive mindset with a willingness to learn.
· Industry and service experience would be a bonus, but not essential.
