TR Group is a proud supporter of the Share the road campaign. It is a New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) funded campaign with the Cycling Action Network (CAN) as the contract holder. This campaign was formerly called “Road User Workshops” and has been running for almost a decade. The key message of the campaign is directed towards drivers and cyclists. We share the road together, therefore
we’re all responsible for each other’s safety. This campaign has conducted workshops and activities for over 10,000 participants from freight and bus companies, as well as cyclists, learning a range of useful techniques to drive and ride in the safest way possible. The activities include taking drivers out on bikes that give them the experience of being in the riders’ perspective, toolbox workshops, and more.
