REGULAR_Lease is our most
popular lease package. We manage the main parts. You add
the optional extras.
Suited to customers wanting to get on with business. By
removing the bulk of administration, costs and maintenance of
running heavy equipment, customers free up time and
capital. You also have the ability to add additional
services from TR that work for you and your
business.
Great reasons to use REGULAR_Lease
- Fully maintained operating lease with no hidden
catches - we manage all servicing and maintenance.
- Maximum 96-hour down time in the event of a
mechanical breakdown - trucks and trailers are mechanical,
and despite rigorous servicing and maintenance gear will
occasionally fail and need repair. The 96-hour down time
provision recognises this, and should provide an assurance
that TR will get right onto fixing gear. If equipment is
not back on the road after 96 hours we will either provide you with
a replacement vehicle, stop your lease payments or add time on
the end of the lease term. Replacement vehicles are drawn
from our Rental fleet and are subject to availability.
- Full vehicle preparation by TR - as with all
our Operating Leases, TR takes responsibility for vehicle build up,
specification, painting and signwriting to your branding
livery.
- No residual value risk - TR takes
responsibility for the residual value at the end of the lease.
Optional extras
The following vehicle maintenance and management areas can be
added to REGULAR_Lease as required:
- GPS / Engine management technology is fitted to all
trucks - this technology can significantly improve
business efficiency, performance and safety. Reports on
vehicle location, fuel consumption and driver and vehicle
performance are among those available live, or provided
as a monthly summary. Includes off road RUC credit
module.
- Access to our in-house TR driver trainer -
our TR instructor provides professional driver tuition -
typically resulting in up to 10% fuel saving with well-trained
drivers. As an NZTA-approved trainer our instructor can
also train a trainer at client companies - this allows clients to
manage their own training programme.
- Truck wash package - at one of our TR
Wash Stations located in Auckland, Palmerston North and
Christchurch.
- RUC (Road User Charges) - managed by TR

Length of lease
Together we work out the duration of the lease based
on requirements and the most economic life of the
equipment. Typically, new vehicle leases run from 36
to 60 months in duration.
