Rental Sales Manager
Auckland

We are looking for a Rental Sales Manager to be a part of our Auckland Rental team. This is a newly created role, with a strong focus on prospecting new business, building our network further and looking after our current customers needs.

A natural flare for sales and a drive to build strong relationships is key in this role, as you will be working with the team to create an exceptional customer experience. Teamwork is important to us at TR Group, you can expect to be supported by an expert team with experience ranging across many different areas from the transport industry.

TR Group provides an expertise-based solution rather than a financial one. Relationships with our customers are typically built on a strong sense of trust, a keen understanding of their business and the requirements of their heavy commercial vehicle fleet.

The role includes: 

  • Expanding the customer base in a planned and targeted manner, e.g.:
    • Prospecting an assigned territory (including Auckland and Northland) for high quality opportunities.
    • Managing existing customer relationships to drive organic growth.
  • Manage and grow relationships with our existing customer base. This includes collaborating internally with our other sales teams to manage any opportunities that arise in relation to other parts of the business, for example:
    • Leasing
    • Driver Training
    • Used Vehicle sales
  • Actively visiting customers and managing relationships in your assigned region of responsibility. Doing this well would be spending approximately 70% - 80% of your time out and about with our customers.
  • The daily use of a CRM system and internal systems to ensure accurate record keeping and keeping communication open with the rest of the TR team.

To be successful in this role you would preferably have past experience in the transport industry, a passion for providing a solution and love to be around people.
